Stats for the meal assembly industry

The meal prep (or meal assembly) industry is growing at a very fast pace. According to EasyMealPrep.com, there were 566 meal prep outlets at the beginning of 2006. By the end of the 2006, this figure is expected to double to over 1130. In 2005 it tripled from 173 to 566.
